Featured Trip (Adventure New Zealand)
Travel abroad with Stout Adventures as we experience New Zealand. For 22 days you will travel by kayak, bike and foot through New Zealand. You will explore a landscape of ice-capped peaks, volcanoes, temperate rain forests, coastal fjords, and vast glaciers. New Zealand’s diverse landscapes and outdoor opportunities make it an ideal location for an adventure.

Experience
The trip requires that you be physically able to complete the activities outlined in the program. However, previous experience in the adventure activities is NOT required! Activities will be led by qualified guides and all equipment and instruction is provided by either the university or local guides.
Equipment
All the equipment needed for camping and adventure activities will be provided. Participants must provide their personal clothing and other personal items. There will be no additional fee for the use of university equipment.
Trip Costs
The Stout Adventures New Zealand trip sign-up process will start at 4pm on Wednesday, May 2. $500 is due at trip sign-up. There are 9 spots available.
The cost of the trip is $3,825 at the current currency conversion rate. Those that register this spring will lock in at $3,825, those whom register after May 31st, may have a higher trip fee based on currency rates. Price includes airfare, lodging & camping fees, adventure activities, ground transportation, equipment, guides & instruction and food on backcountry portions of the trip.
